The captioned insurance program offered through PREVIDIR guarantees the insured an amount insured, as per those limits chosen by the policy holder for Life and Total Permanant Disability insurance, in accordance with the CCNL National Collective Labor Agreement.

All insurance optione offered by PREVIDIR have been defined with leading primary insurers, where the terms and conditions offered there under respect competitive market conditions.

The wordings of these insurance policies are constantly up dated to keep track of the legal framework of the collective bargaining aspects of coverage.

The aim of the program is to provide valuable financial support to the insureds who incur major financial difficulties . Indirect pensions are insufficient to make up for the gap with the income received before the severe event (e.g. and are inadequate to the full livelihood of a family with children).

Payment of the amounts insured are tax free and are not subject to inheritance tax.

Payments may be made as follows:

  • directly to the insured; in th case of Total Permanant Disability (resulting from bodily injury or illness)
  • directly to the beneficiaries or legitimate heirs, indicated in the insured’s last will or testament.

Each policy holder participating in this program shall receive a special certificate of Insurance, issued by the insurance company indicating the following information: named insureds, amounts insured or salary multiples insured, period of coverage, amount of premium per capita.

The terms and conditions of this product has been defined as per the CCNL Collective National Labor Agreement for Industrial Executives with regards to amounts insured and contractual obligations (article 12 CCNL of the Industrial Executive Labor Contract obligations as indicated in the 2019 contractual renewal negotiations).

This program includes coverage for Death “ any cause “, and Total Permanent Disability and includes some unique features such as amounts insured: from € 200.000 to € 300.000 , limits may be increased up to € 400.000 without medical documentation.

  • possibility to increase amounts insured up to € 1.000.000
  • employment continuity even in the case of Total Permanant Disability Disability

Previdr has also developed the TCM “Family protection” Program, at low costs and regardless of age.

The Boards may be entitled to insurance coverage provided by the CCNL of membership.

Previdir fully meets their needs through the program that provides for both the Death case and the case of Permanent Total Disability, integrating them with the extension of insured capital up to € 300.000, without any request for health documentation.

These categories of insureds can access these products at the same costs and conditions as per the insureds of the policy holders. Coverage can be offered for an amount insured up to € 300.000 for both Death and Total Permanent Disability insurance without any medical documentation.

In addition to these additional extensions of insured categories, PREVIDIR has also included an option for KEY MAN insurance Key Man.

  • KEY MAN INSURANCE

The most important valuable assets of any employer are their human resources, whereby sometimes someone stands out , individually or collectively, regarding the roles and responmsabilities they occupy for their employer. These employees , and the job responsabilities they occupy at their job, are considered “KEY MAN“, and insurance for these individuals are entitled KEY MAN insurance. Given this most important role of these individuals, PREVIDIR has identified a specific insurance product for these Individuals, offering an option for an amount insured up to € 3.000.000.

In addition, for those individuals previously insured for an amount insured up to € 1.500.000 and are not older than 55 years of age, there is no underwriting required.

Such a program provides the following options:

  • for amounts insured up to € 300.000 no medical records required
  • for amounts insured exceeding € 300.000 up to € 350.000, a medical anamnestic questionnaire is required
  • for amounts insured exceeding € 350.000 and up to € 750.000 the following medical documentation is required: HbA1c, CRP, uric acid, cholesterol, triglycerides, AST, ALT, gamma – GT, creatine, complete blood tests, HIV, Cotinine (non smoking test)
  • for amounts insured in excess of € 750.000 up to € 3.000.000 in addition to the above this additional Medical information is required : hepatisis, (HBeAG and Anti Hcv), ECG (for insureds over 50 years of age) Financial questionnaire.

  • Benefits of the Program

This model of coverage offered by PREVIDIR permits employers to take advantage of the following benefits:

  • collectively for non employees (executives, entrepreneurs, etc…)
  • facilitated underwriting requirements
  • ad hoc options for special professionals (i.e. Key Man)
  • coverage includes suicide
  • special conditions for Industrial Executives
  • reduced employer contributions; the employer is sub ject to pay only the 10 % solidarity contribution of the amount paid to PREVIDIR (article 6 F.D. lgs 02/09/1997 n 134)
  • the premiums paid to the insurer through PREVIDIR is paid with a tax deduction of 19% with an annual cap of € 530 (article 15, lit (f), for both employees and self employed workers.
