The Supplementary Health Care Program offered by PREVIDIR provides for the reimbursement of medical expenses incurred both privately and through the NHS National Health Sysyem in Italy and abroad, through contractual agreements with primary insurance companies.

These plans offer supplementary health care for all categories of employees, to include also those employees who have additional health care assistance through their contract of employment funds such as: FASI, FASDAC, FAIT, QUAS, or any other contractual legal agreement or equivalent. If they are not enrolled in these programs, coverage may be offered from the “ground up“ for all other insureds, which may choose from a wide range of options offered through PREVIDIR. These benefits include:

  • Reimbursement of hospitalization costs, including Day Hospital expenses and also expenses incurred during hospitalization.
  • Natural child birth and caesarian section
  • Daily indemnity for loss of income following hospitalization
  • Daignostic testing ( doppler, tac, MRI, dialysis, electrocardiography, etc )
  • Fees for doctor / specialist visits
  • Spa treatments, physiotherapy treatments, prostethics, orthopedic supports
  • Dental care (conservative, preventive , surgery, radiology, papadonology, prothesis, orthognatodontian, endodontial, implantation) lenses and eyeware
  • Support Services (medical advice, permanent medical care, second opinion, emergency medical transportation)
  • Prevention Package:
    • Cardiovascular – extended to all family menbers
    • Oncology – for the sole insured, every two years
    • Dental – for the entire family

The PREVIDIR program offers supplementary coverage over the National Labor Contratual Funds (such as FASDAC, FASI, FAIT,etc…) through 10 different options, each offering a series of benefits “tailor made“ for the insured. Executives who are not included in these funds, have the option to purchase coverage from the “ground up“, whereby they are then reimbursed for their expenses incurred.

Previdir’s Supplementary Health Care program provides medical coverage under a number of options for this category of employment, with options based on their individual and family needs.

Retirees may have access to the Fund’s Supplementary Health Care Program, provided that:

  • Prior to retirement, they were alrerady enrolled under a Health Care Program through Previdir, in accordance with the employer’s Company regulations
  • The initial application for registration comes from the Employer of the “soon to be “ retiree , with the understanding that all financial costs are borne by the individual and not the employer

In line with the above conditions, the retirees has the right to access the many options provided for by the fund, which allows him to enjoy the same conditions as other employees.

Once the contribution obligations have been  fulfilled, the relationship between the fund and the pensioneer shall be direct between themselves, without involving the ex employer.

PREVIDIR has also developed a number of options for large companies which employ over 100 employees.  For these types of employers, coverage is provided for, based on their CCNL Collective National Labor Contract which involve such entities as “FONDO EST, FASA, METASALUTE” and many others. These additional options are available under diffrent conditions such as: supplementary coverage over the National Labor Contract, or on a “ground up basis“, which means that the insured pays up front, to then receive his reimburesement from the fund.

  • The possibility to include non tax dependent family members, such as children over age 26 and the parents of the insured, as long as they all live together, at a modest additional cost
  • Direct agreements with prestigious private medical specialists, diagnostic centers, and nursing homes
  • Reimbursement of medical expenses within 30 days following the submission of the complete documentation
  • Option to increase major medical limits to € 5.000.000 at a minimal increase of costs
